Pakshipathalam
At an altitude of 1740 meters above sea level, Pakshipathalam is one of the most unspoiled hill stations of Kerala. This hill station is located at a distance of seven kilometers from Thirunelli in Kozhikode district in Kerala. Home to a great variety of species of rare and exotic birds and animals, the verdant surroundings of Pakshipathalam was once a haven for the Indian saints of yore who spent their time in prayer and meditation in the lap of nature. The only way one can reach the slopes of Pakshipathalam is by trekking.
